The Practice

A place to slow things down, notice patterns and explore your next step

“The Practice”

Seasonal. Limited spaces. Designed for sustainability.

This is a way of working that honours rhythm rather than productivity.

The practice opens in seasons, not continuously.

Not because demand needs managing — but because attention does. This work requires space.

For you, and for me.

Why seasonal sessions?

Most patterns don’t shift because we’ve talked about them once.

They shift when there’s time to notice how they repeat — across work, relationships, energy, and the body — and to respond with more clarity and choice.

A seasonal structure:

  • creates a clear beginning and ending

  • gives breathing room between sessions

  • supports integration, not accumulation

It’s not about doing more.

It’s about letting what matters become visible.

Why Limited Spaces?

This practice relies on presence, not output.

I work with a small number of people at any one time so that:

  • sessions are held with full attention

  • there’s space to think between sessions

  • the work stays precise rather than diluted

It’s designed to work with our lives not against it.

Sustainability (For Both of Us)

Sustainability here isn’t a buzzword.

It means:

  • the work doesn’t require urgency to function

  • neither of us is stretched thin or rushed

  • insight isn’t forced into a timetable or an outcome

How we work together…

When we decide to work together, we begin with two one-hour sessions, booked and paid for in advance, and used within the current season.

Many people arrive with something already present — winter might bring questions around endings, family, finances, loneliness, or transition — and these first sessions allow us to slow things down and find a pace that suits both you and the patterns you’re noticing.

Sometimes two sessions are enough to make sense of what’s been happening and bring the work to a natural close. At other times, it becomes clear that there’s more to explore, and we may choose to continue working together across further sessions or into another season.

My role is to create a steady, thoughtful space where what’s happening can be seen more clearly. I reflect back patterns, offer perspective, and introduce different ways of exploring a situation especially when words alone aren’t enough.

I don’t focus on productivity, quick fixes, or solutions. I do focus on clarity — understanding the systems you’re living and working within, recognising how you participate in them, and helping you find solid ground so you can trust yourself with the next step.

Because I work with a limited number of people at any one time, there is capacity for support between sessions when it genuinely serves the work. This is always negotiated, with clear guidelines agreed in advance, so that support remains purposeful rather than intrusive or overwhelming. The intention is not to manage your process, but to support reflection and continuity where it genuinely serves the work.

Is this practice for you?

This practice may be a good fit if you find yourself responding to questions like these:

  • What would it feel like to make space to look at those things that I keep circling ?

  • What would slowing things down enough to see what keeps repeating show me ?

  • Does a seasonal rhythm feel supportive ?

  • How would I feel if this time next year I kept on repeating the same old patterns?

  • Am I interested in clarity, even when it complicates things?

There’s no right or wrong answers.

Only notice what came up for you.
